Welcome to the Mens Section

We have a friendly and active Mens Section at Sidcup Golf Club and we run a wide selection of club stroke play competitions, knock-out competitions and matches against other local clubs.

Club Competitions

We play Qualifying Competitions all year round. During the Summer some competitions are 'drawn', with members entering their names, so it is easy for a new member to get a game and feel part of the Club. The draw is made one week before the competition. 'Open to all' competitions are also held on weekends and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the year, providing another opportunity to get the handicap into shape!

Club Knockouts

There are Mens Singles, Mens Foursomes and Fourball knockout competitions through the summer and winter.

Team Matches

We also enter teams in all the major Kent County Team Competitions. SGC is a member of the Southeast Association of 16 Members Clubs. The association runs match play knockouts in 6 divisions, from scratch to 18+ handicap.

There are a number of friendly matches against our associated clubs and all members, of any standard, are encouraged to sign up for these.
